This is what Obama Needs To Do

Go on nationwide TV, sans teleprompter, look the American people straight in the eye, and say the following:

The Republican Party is refusing to enforce the law, a law which has been on the books for three years now. If they persist in their unpatriotic extremism, your Medicare will be be eliminated on October 17th, and there will be no more Social Security checks issued. Despite the screaming propaganda you saw and heard at the town hall meetings of '09, I have never had the slightest desire, nor made the slightest move, to take these important benefits away from the American people. But the actions, or, more properly, the inactions of the GOP scofflaws---criminals, actually---will result in precisely these occurrences. Regardless of the false equivalence being spouted by our media, it will have been the Republicans, and the Republicans only, who destroyed our economy.

Sick and tired of the Sunday Morning panel shows

The same bullshit, the same incestuous coupling of pols and elitist pundits, the same false equivalency, and the same chuckling Bonhomie as Rome burns attitude of people making six or seven figures just for talking!

From now on, I'll be watching reruns of Law & Order.
