Whenever a glitch eats a post in progress, especially a long one, I think "maybe this wasn't meant to be." Sometimes I'll rewrite it, sometimes not.

If I had my radar on for "all the answers" I'd go crazy. My head is full of answers, not all of them good answers.

When I'm feeling overwhelmed I back off and live in the moment.

Many of my problem are a consequence of OCD. I can't stop thinking about something, I can't stop doing something. If that's a positive thing it's not so bad, it can actually be a benefit. If it's a negative or inconsequential thing my life gets a lot worse.

I take meds to deal with the worst but I also practice "living in the moment" or just "being." It's not a formal meditation of any kind, just a focus on where I am, not where I'm going, or where I've been. Here I am, breathing, alive. That's a pretty good place to be.
