13. Excellent work, but one quibble...

I don't know where the idea came from that moderators should fact check. They rarely, perhaps never, never have.

I know that we have never had a candidate so disdainful of the truth as Trump before, but "facts" are slippery things and are often not so clear. If anyone should be fact checking, it is the opponent on the dais. The debaters, however, all tend to stretch the truth for their own purposes-- when that stretch becomes a lie is a good question. Yes, I know, Trump really doesn't know the difference and just says whatever pops into his mouth at the time-- this is really new territory for a Presidential debate, but still shouldn't be the time to set new rules.

Now, after the debate, when the pundits and gassers get together to tell us what we have seen would be the time for them to tell us who told the biggest lies.

It would be fun to have a Truth-O-Meter at some point.
