The banners and protests and long hair
Yes a first person front seat
But if only your optimism were better founded
The odds of this country seeing anything even closely resembling a revolution are slim to none
If the first line of defense is to petition your representatives for redress of grievances and I cannot so much as even see someone show up at the local political functions let alone raise their voices above a whisper as they 'debate' the latest useless 'brain fodder' supplied by mainstream media and then parroted by those 'UN-incumbered by the thought process' how could I feel I will somehow see a real ground swell and revolt.
Oh say it is so that finally we will all rise up and at least demand some redress for what is called 911 and its associated travesties of justice and common sense
But no we slept while that one grew stale and 'so yesterday'
All will be calm
All will be silent
In simple terms it's 'no one really has the time or inclination to even give a shit yet alone throw it at someone in protest'
