(37,648 posts)and they frankly don't give a shi*t if they hold up a line of cars behind them. I run across that on occasion, and it's very irritating to run across people with no consideration of others. Still, that's part of living in a city, and I try to take it in stride, as do others. Pulling a gun is an overreaction to say the least, besides being a crime.
Today I was behind someone with her turn signal on, waiting and waiting for someone to pull out of a space. I just waited. I didn't have to be anywhere at a certain time. I didn't have to wait toooo long, though, because what happened? When the car pulled out, another car from the OTHER direction, zoomed into the spot before the car in front of me could. It was absolute gall. The thing that happened in that movie, Fried Green Tomatoes. It just makes you downright mad at the in-your-face shit-on-you of it all. I felt for the car in front of me as she honked her horn solidly as she then sped off. I turned to look at the man who got out of the car that had zoomed into the space that wasn't his...and he averted his eyes. Narcissistic AND chicken.
