bearsfootball516's JournalTrump changes course again, now appears to be looking to shut down government per MSNBC.

At this moment, the president does not want to go further without border security, which includes steel slats or a wall. The president is continuing to weigh his options.
Tucker Carlson turns on Trump, "I don't think he's capable"
"Tucker Carlson is usually quick to go after critics of President Donald Trump on his nightly Fox News show.
But in a new interview with conservative Swiss magazine Die Weltwoche, the Tucker Carlson Tonight host called out Trump himself for his boastfulness and for failing to keep his promises to voters.
His chief promises were that he would build the wall, de-fund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasnt done any of those things, said Carlson, per The Washington Post.
...
I dont think hes capable, Carlson explained. I dont think hes capable of sustained focus. I dont think he understands the system. I dont think the Congress is on his side. I dont think his own agencies support him. Hes not going to do that.

"Trump, stung by midterms and nervous about Mueller, retreats from traditional presidential duties"
For weeks this fall, an ebullient President Trump traveled relentlessly to hold raise-the-rafters campaign rallies sometimes three a day in states where his presence was likely to help Republicans on the ballot.
But his mood apparently has changed as he has taken measure of the electoral backlash that voters delivered Nov. 6. With the certainty that the incoming Democratic House majority will go after his tax returns and investigate his actions, and the likelihood of additional indictments by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, Trump has retreated into a cocoon of bitterness and resentment, according to multiple administration sources.
Behind the scenes, they say, the president has lashed out at several aides, from junior press assistants to senior officials. Hes furious, said one administration official. Most staffers are trying to avoid him.
The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, painted a picture of a brooding president trying to decide who to blame for Republicans election losses, even as he publicly and implausibly continues to claim victory.

This was so enjoyable to read. Another poster mentioned that after his furious campaigning in the final month, to see everything collapse and the blue wave wash over Washington, he probably feels like a loser.
So, what's going on with that caravan?
Strange that once midterms happened, Trump and Fox have gone completely silent.
NOBODY saw that coming...
In tweet, Trump tosses conspiracy theory in Arizona election, floats idea of new election
Someone let him know that this is a state election, which the federal government has no control over.

I think the October Surprise just happened.
Independents are going to swing hard, HARD for Democratic candidates now.
Watch the New York Times live poll of the Florida Gov and Florida Senate races here.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/upshot/elections-poll-flgov-3.htmlThis is really interesting to watch. You can use the little scroll at the top right corner to flip between races. One thing I'm noticing, there's a lot of enthusiasm for Gillum that isn't always translating to Nelson. There have been several people that said they're voting Gillum, but are undecided in the Senate race.
Is there any truth to this MSNBC article that just came out?
Seems kind of bizarre, considering Democrats typically dominate early voting, and this is a year when Democrats are extremely fired up.

Florida early voters, please let us know what you see.
In terms of turnout, any lines, what number you were to vote, etc.
Please and thank you!
