warmfeet's JournalI voted for Elizabeth Warren in the Minnesota primary today (early voting).
It felt good to have a chance to actually vote for her. I think she would make a wonderful POTUS.
My wife and I were the only two at Oakdale City Hall voting. I am hoping for a strong turnout for the general election - no matter who the successful nominee turns out to be.
Bashing Bernie is clearly the way forward to bringing down Trump.
As a clear majority of fellow DU'ers already know, the very best way to defeat Trump is to bash our own nominees.
Continue, and I approve biggly.
Have fun watching the returns November 4th.
Thank you Democracy, it was fun while it lasted.
Let us all surrender to the defeatists, the cynics and the trumpists.

I would just like to say that I am somewhat disappointed by recent developments on the Democratic
Underground. Ostensibly, we are all Democrats and wish to advance the principles and values of Democracy.
I have seen many threads, of late, attacking Bernie Sanders. I have seen much hand wringing and teeth gnashing with regard to his chances of beating well, you know who, in the general election.
If Bernie becomes the Democratic nominee, which you and I have little control over as individuals, should we not support him, and to our fullest abilities. Our nomination process is a Democratic process, after all.
If our goal is to defeat the incumbent, should we not support our nominee with full force?
Just to make things clear, I support Elizabeth Warren. I will, however, do everything in my power to defeat this incumbent. I will do everything in my power to defeat this current abomination.
