That statement coming from any other president would probably have a calming effect on the People.

That statement coming from Trump - is a threat.

"You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Think of what that means to Trump and the Repugs.

- attacking Social Security and Medicare
- more tax breaks for the top 1%
- suspending the election

If One Goes To The Doctor's Office To Request Virus Testing.....

and they test positive - doesn't the Doctors Office become contaminated and needs to be quarantined until sanitized somehow.

Hospitals might be able to control for such testing and set aside areas for testing.

Most Doctor's offices are small facilities and the best that they can offer is maybe sanitizing solutions and masks. How can a Doctor's office control such testing and not get contaminated?

What Did Trump Promise The Health Insurance Guys He'll Do For Them If....

they help him out of the fix he's in now?

He had them in today and they are making all kinds of concessions to handle the cost of testing and other related virus costs.

I got to believe that there was some 'quid pro quo' going on in that meeting. What did Trump promise he'd do for them?

How Could MSNBC In Good Conscience Cut Away From This Covid-19 Conference....

That is just irresponsible. This is information that should be important to all Americans and to cut away is just unbelievable.

Last Friday There Was A Story About Trump Appearing To Have Wet His Pants In Tennessee.....

I believe there were pictures of Trump from the behind and it showed a very big damp spot in the crotch area and then a close up of the damp spot.

I thought that this would get a lot of play here on DU - and lo and behold - I didn't see anything after that one post.

Was that story and those pictures discredited? Was it a hoax and a photoshopped job or did it really happen?

Trump Was With All The Repugs That Are Now In Self Quarantine.....

in fact - one of the Gaetz was on Air Force 1 with Trump after he attended a doing at Mar-A-Lago.

I just saw a clip of the Covid-19 News Conference where Trump spoke today. Around him was the Pence committee for the management of this crisis.

Didn't Trump put all those people in peril? Maybe Trump should self-quarantine.

Sirius XM Has A Station Dedicated To This Covid-19 Crisis....

From what I've heard thus far is that treat it as you were protecting yourself from the flu. Wash you hands frequently. Minimize travel. Stay away from large groups. Sick and the elderly should stick at home.

The medical personnel were giving the impression they were not too worried.

Which made me think - if this is not such a big deal - why the hell did they dedicate a Sirius XM station to this crisis. They never did that for the flu.

Actually I'm glad they are doing this - but it sure doesn't ease my anxiety about the implications of contracting the virus; it's spread and possibly resultant sickness and possible death.
