Say Hello to the Biden/Harris Attorney General

Wait...let me just get this straight:

The thesis of the Trump campaign is that in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Atlanta is that the black population voted in toto for Trump and their ballots should thus be disallowed in toto because the machines were set to change all of the votes to Biden. Thus all the votes that were for Biden, cast by this gigantic group of black people had been marked for Trump. This is the only conclusion one can draw from their supposition.

Yeah: and didn’t you know: Biden won Oklahoma. OK!

A few thoughts this Monday...

Those of us who were Kennedy assassination aficionados know what it’s like to be termed conspiracy theorists. Many of us were alive and aware at the time and watched the conspiracy unfold on live television. Yes I know, many of you think this is tripe and BS and that’s fine, because at this point everyone involved is dead, and we will never have complete resolution of this, but what I personally find amusing is the incredible conspiracy theory of Trump and his minions which put all of ours to shame. And yet millions of people are clinging to every word as though it’s gospel. Of course, these are the same people who believe that there’s a worldwide conspiracy involving over 100 nations faking COVID-19 to bring down Donald Trump. It’s all a giant paranoid nightmare, and there are no lines between truth and fiction any longer.

Every day since the inauguration Of this miscreant, I think about the old Twilight Zone episode with a very young Billy Mumy wherein he could wish anything to happen and it did instantly. This character is presently in the White House, and all these senators are afraid to be “wished into the cornfield”. For me, the most prescient and interesting aspect of the episode was Rod Serling’s narration as prologue, wherein he said that it was unknown as to whether that section where the farm was had been moved away from the world itself, or if the world was gone and this was the only remaining section. This guy in the White House has done as much as he can to destroy the order of the world and we are now going to have to effect repairs which may take a generation. A Horrifying turn of events.

Brian Stelter on CNN gave a great opinion at the end of his show.

He talked about the denial and it’s roots in psychology. Worth finding on replay. If I get a link I’ll post it but wanted to give a heads-up.

The elected Rethugs are playing the long game. They know not only that they can maintain the relationship with their base and at the same time they also know that “no one” will remember this two years from now. It’s how they roll. No culpability ever for their actions. We are still paying for Jimmy Carter’s rabbit or Obama’s tan suit. That’s forever,,,,

I can't believe I missed this:

I was watching Noel Casler last night in a very lengthy interview he gave with five other participants, and he reiterated that story about Trump crapping himself when under stress on set and elsewhere. During this particular interview he added that his accidents not only smelled to high heaven, but were voluminous in extreme. The crew used to call the show “the shit show“ for this reason.

So this morning as I’m driving to work, I suddenly realize that that is why Trump was referring to flushing the toilet 15 times. The way Casler describes it, he’s got huge amounts of material in there from eating McDonald’s food to excess, and when he goes he really goes. Apparently, doing Adderall and then Xanax causes sudden bowel relaxation which leads to large volume BM’s.

And now I understand the dilemma: low flush toilets don’t take it all the first few times and that’s why Trump is obsessed with plumbing fixtures.

Many years ago, then-Senator John Heinz’s plane crashed in a schoolyard in Lower Merion on the Main Line of Philadelphia. The ABC affiliate, channel 6, right down the street from the school, sent it’s crack reporters over to the horror scene. I witnessed on live tv the following, and I’m not paraphrasing much if at all:

Reporter to mother crying, holding her kindergarten child in her arms who is trembling and shaking having just witnessed classmates being horribly burned and others killed: “What went through your mind when you heard that an airplane had crashed into the playground where your child was out at recess??”

Mother to reporter on live tv: “What the fuck do you THINK went through my mind you idiot? This is my CHILD. This is my LIFE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!”

And away she went.... he was speechless.

This SHOULD be the equivalent response to stupid questions. But rarely is

I took an IQ test, and I actually read up on it and was impressed by the fact that the mean for the USA was defined as 100. I immediately filed away in my brain that that meant that half of Americans had a two-digit IQ. Something to think about

Anyway, paranoid insanity is not limited to “low-intelligence” individuals. For years I had a high-functioning employee who knew that there was a hidden sun behind Jupiter, and the solar system belonging to that sun is where all the aliens come from on Earth. She had been imparted this “knowledge” by several reliable sources including but not limited to, a top official at the Pentagon. One day, while she was breathlessly telling me more details, I remarked: why would a general of the US Army risk his career, and from what you say, his life and the lives of his family, by telling a dental office administrator? It stopped her in her tracks...for about eight seconds. Undaunted, she continued on with her story.

And yes, she was a Trump voter as were three of my 10 employees.
