PCIntern's JournalHey Joey Scar...a few questions for you:
1. WTF do you mean by surmising that Romneys gonna win Colorado "by a few votes" when his deficit is widening there by the day? What is your logic and reasoning? He's down 5% now, and most of these polls don't take many of idjit's gaffes into account.
2. WTF does it mean when you say that the national polls are 'tightening', and then you drop your voice sotto voce and saythat the state-by-state polls are 'troublesome' for your boy, because the President has hit 50% and increasing? Exactly how important are the national polls? Were they important in 2000 after the fact?
3. WTF are you doing there, besides bloviating and collecting a check? Do you think? Do you consider that the country would be ill-served by this charlatan, this empty-suit who has no values, no rudder, no concept of anything except his own peculiar thought-process which is just devoid of any emotion, any intimacy, any loyalty, and was despised, yes, despised, by his competitiors on the stump. How many Republican candidates over the years can be said to be so hated by his peers all the while presenting with that smirky-smile? Don't you find that a bit strange?
Eff you and your entire family...
Ooops, I need to distance myself from that statement. I know that I put it rather inelegantly and it was a poor choice of words. What I meant to say is that I love you and enjoy your company immensely along with all the wonderfully diverse members of your inner circle.

How can Chuck Toadie say that the Mittster is distancing himself from his remarks? How do you DO that when Romney said what he said?
Hopey, Changey, and Stealthy...
How's that workin' out for you today, Rethuglicans?
(Just paraphrasing St. Sarah)
Didn't think that the ghost ofJimmy Carter's Presidency, the peanut farmer turned President, the one you malign TO THIS DAY, would come back to haunt your ass, did you?
I am of the opinion that Romney expressed himself quite elegantly...
Pitch-perfect, in fact...
I've never heard him so cogent, so on-message, so sure of himself. It was an honest telling of his inner feelings.
That being said, he best better be trounced in the GE
Vandehei of Politico is spinning the new rethug meme that
Romney will govern from the center...Tweety was having none of it. He pointed out that you have to have cred with the extremists to begin with in order to move to the center, e.g. Nixon to China. Romney has no cred.
As well as no morals...to quote Henry Miller about a young lady of his acquaintance, Romney "has the morals of a clam."
Lip-smacking schmuck on TeeVee machine just had a Freudian slip
Romney said "impair" rather than "empower"...parents. He corrected himself, however, so he knew what he'd done.
Lots o' lip smacking...about one per half-sentence.
More good news!!! NJ!!!

Pa. poll: Obama lead widens
In the home stretch to Election Day, President Obama has secured a commanding lead in New Jersey - 14 points - over Republican challenger Mitt Romney, according to the Inquirer New Jersey Poll conducted last week.
Support for the president is even stronger in the seven South Jersey counties, with Obama leading Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, 56 to 34 percent compared with 51-37 percent statewide. Obama has a double-digit lead among unaffiliated voters, and he enjoyed a bounce in support from those who watched the Democratic convention on TV earlier this month.
On the other hand, 32 percent of those who watched the Republican convention said they were less likely to vote for Romney, with 26 percent more likely to support him.
The poll of 600 voters was conducted by phone Sept. 9 to Sept. 12 by a bipartisan team of pollsters from the Democratic firm Global Strategy Group and the Republican firm National Research Inc. The statewide margin of error is 4 percent; in South Jersey (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties), the margin of error is 8.5 percent.
A speech for DU and all Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives:
Now, I want you to remember that no bastard ever won an election by losing for his party. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard lose for his party. Men, all this stuff youve heard about Democrats not wanting to fight, wanting to stay out of the voting booth, is a lot of horse dung. Americans traditionally love to vote. All real Americans love the sting of the election season. When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble shooter, the fastest runner, the big league ball player, the toughest boxer. Democrats love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Democrats play to win all the time. I wouldnt give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. Thats why Americans have never lost and will never lose a war. Because the very thought of losing is hateful to real Americans.
Now, a political party is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of crap. The bilious bastards who wrote that stuff about individuality for the Saturday Evening Post dont know anything more about real battle than they do about fornicating.
We have the finest food and technology, the best spirit and the best people in the world. You know, by God I actually pity those poor bastards were going up against. By God, I do. Were not just going to beat the bastards, were going to cut out their living guts and use them to grease the voting machines.
Now, some of you folks, I know, are wondering whether or not you'll chicken out under fire. Don't worry about it. I can assure you that you will all do your duty. The Republicans are the enemy. Wade into them. You'll know what to do.
Now theres another thing I want you to remember. I dont want to get any e-mails saying that we are holding our position. Were not holding anything. Let the Right-wingers do that. We are advancing constantly and were not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy. We're going to hold onto him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the ass. We're going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we're gonna go through him like crap through a goose.
Theres one thing that you folks will be able to say when you get back home the day after the election. And you may thank God for it. Thirty years from now when youre sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what did you do in the great campaign of 2012, you wont have to say, "Well, I shoveled shit in Louisiana."
Alright now, you sons-of-bitches, you know how I feel. Oh, and I will be
proud to lead you wonderful guys into battle anytime, anywhere.
Thats all.

Heavily edited from the opening monologue of 'Patton'...give credit where credit is due.
"...everything is under control." 11:20 AM 9/11/2001 statement by officials in the government.
...as reported by NBC News. It's either funny or frightening, depending upon you-know-what.
Also, note that Ashleigh Banfield kept hearing explosions...many of them...after the collapse of the buildings.
All that 'cognitive dissonance' for those 'poor' Republicans:
On the one hand of course, they despise President Obama, the "Kenyan-socialist-communist-nazi"...(did I mention that he was also black?), and would love nothing better than to make him go --POOF-- and disappear from 'their' White House. they had the money, they had the commentators, they had the airwaves, they had the Intertubes READY TO GO.
But...WTF!!? due to an 'unfortunate' chain of events, known as primaries, they are saddled with someone whom none other than Rick Santorum called the worst possible nominee. Santorum may be a Political Troglodyte, but give him this much, he's smart enough to come up with that and the Etch-a-Sketch line, and truer words have never been spoken.
They can't believe that they are saddled with this guy even though anyone and everyone with half-a-brain said that this would happen. To quote many of their 'bent', "The fact of the matter is" (isn't that dismissive of the other person's viewpoint or FACTS) that the only way that they can 'win' a national election or a Federal election, is to CHEAT. Did I forget to mention LIE and STEAL? No, Joe Scarborough and Mika, this country is NOT fundamentally right-wing. Sorry to tell you, but t'ain't so. And you're going to lose, Bigtime, to quote your former VeePee.
They can't deal with this and are having temper-tantrums and anxiety attacks. Funny enough, what they forgot would fill a large encyclopedia, but what destroyed them this time was, to quote President Phil Gramm when he stated a long long time ago that the best friend of a politician was 'Ready Money', and thus, he couldn't lose. They thought that they could sell a bad product to the masses but no amount of money is going to convince the majority that they need to drink stale milk by the gallon.
No wonder they're going nuts.
