He slammed bernie! Civil Rights Hero John Lewis Slams Bernie Sanders
When a reporter asked Lewis to comment on Sanders' involvement in the movement—Sanders as a college student at the University of Chicago was active in civil rights work—the congressman brusquely interrupted him. "Well, to be very frank, I'm going to cut you off, but I never saw him, I never met him," Lewis said. "I'm a chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee for three years, from 1963 to 1966. I was involved in the sit-ins, the freedom rides, the March on Washington, the march from Selma to Montgomery, and directed their voter education project for six years. But I met Hillary Clinton. I met President Clinton."

Most of the Unions are supporting Hillary. HRC and PP are supporting Hillary. Later today
the CBC is endorsing Hillary.
AG Holder has endorsed Hillary.. 170 African American Women Leaders are going to South Carolina to knock on doors and make phone calls for Hillary.
Most all of the Dem Reps and Senators are supporting Hillary. They've had years of experience with both of them and they choose Hillary Clinton.
Don't even think about saying "#establishment".. BS called HRC and PP establishment.. and as Daniel Kushner wrote..

Wow, lunamagica .. I finally got the time to sit still and read this..
Daniel Kushner's article is quite comprehensive.. nothing I hadn't read at one time or another but here it is all together on one compact piece.
He asks an excellent question at the end..

Thank you for this.. I'll be sending it to my sister in California who supports Hillary but she is appalled by Sanders from just what she's seen of him on tv.. that's what she knows of politics.
She obviously has good instincts and I want her to know more of the details.

Hillary Clinton Snags Coveted Endorsement Of The Congressional Black Caucus
Following the planned meeting with the Democratic National Committee to officially hand Clinton their nod, Caucus leaders will send their troops out into states where the black vote is a make-or-break situation to make sure that they have as much support for their candidate as possible. They are intensely focused on South Carolina, where getting the black vote out will definitely be a boost for whichever candidate takes that state’s primary. From the Washington Post:
“It’s one thing to endorse and do nothing. It’s another thing to endorse and to go to work,” said Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), chairman of the CBC PAC. These lawmakers are, Meeks said, “people that can actually testify the work that Hillary Clinton has done.”
