Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Biden Sanders ticket should be considered to bring unity to the democrats. [View all]Sloumeau
(2,657 posts)11. Bernie would never consider it,
because he would say that Biden is "the establishment". Plus, I suspect that many Warren supporters would be hopping mad if Bernie offered the VP slot to Biden over Warren. I think that Biden would only consider a Bernie VP slot, not a Biden VP slot, as Biden has already been there done that with the VP slot, and Bernie would never accept VP.
Therefore, I highly doubt that there will be a Benie and Biden unity ticket.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

No. Sanders will sink any ticket he's on, once the GOP uses their oppo research on him.

Sanders would be more helped by a strong African American woman like Stacey Abrams.

We need unity for sure but both Joe or Bernie would need a younger person on the ticket IMO. n/t

As I've said often on DU, there is a difference in a progressive and a "progressive"
