(459 posts)the same way republicans do with clintons emails. fight fire with fire. every dem talker, be they an elected official, strategist, or host of some kind needs to bring this up any time they are invited on to talk about hillary's emails (well, huma and weiner's emails). say yes, but if we want transparency why did donald trump in many of his businesses delete vital emails relating to business interests? documents that courts wanted to look at? is it because it shows more business failings that he was ashamed of, or is it something more serious like alleged business dealings with the russian goverment and mafia?
we can't fumble around the way dems usually do on issues of weakness. karl rove is a deplorable man but he was brilliant with the strategy of attack where you're weak instead of running from it (see gwb's service record vs. john kerry's). dems need to nuke trump on this and blur the line so much on the emails that middle of the road voters get more confused than they already are and it blunts this as a potential problem for hillary. put trump on the defensive.
