the 'Solomon Amendment'?

Not sure how it would have anything specific to do with Atheism though?

T

he 1996 Solomon Amendment is the popular name of 10 U.S.C. § 983, a United States federal law that allows the Secretary of Defense to deny federal grants (including research grants) to institutions of higher education if they prohibit or prevent ROTC or military recruitment on campus.

Unless you equate "institutions of higher education" solely with atheism? ( a nice goal, but not reality at the moment.)

ETA: Just to be clear though, it's a stupid law no matter who it gets applied to.
Is there any plausible reason they wouldn't ?? berniepdx420 Apr 2016 #1
Not that I am aware of. stone space Apr 2016 #7
why did you ask the question ? berniepdx420 Apr 2016 #9
Because some believed that it was sufficient reason to deny me an education at the time. stone space Apr 2016 #13

Do you mean to say that religious people only object to war because their god tells them it is djean111 Apr 2016 #11
I assume that religious folks object to war for much the same reasons that atheists object to war. stone space Apr 2016 #16
Moronic. Ferd Berfel Apr 2016 #12

I don't make the argement. Nor do I parse the law. stone space Apr 2016 #20
The argument should be made in court, if it has not already. Warren DeMontague Apr 2016 #22

I'm not sure that I see a connection. stone space Apr 2016 #24
It is a statement on morals being separate from religion, which they are. longship Apr 2016 #28
