and are all of sudden confused by Sander's sudden momentum.

Sanders is riding a wave arguing that we can and should do more for college students, elderly, sick, poor, etc. We can do better.

"We can't" or "stay the course" is in a way saying put up the white flag to the American people. We refuse to go silently into the night knowing that global warming has started to swallow up Miami and many coastal cities. If I was a New Yorker right now I would be seriously reconsidering support Hillary.
