45. I got my butt kicked for the first few years

and loved it. I learned fast to have my facts straight and links ready. If you got called out and were not prepared, people piled on pretty quickly. Not so much these days. I get a bunch of static for refusing to click on random blog links or watch YouTube propaganda that is posted as "facts", but I will not waste my time with that mess.

Hoping that the new moderation improves the level of dialog. It is harder to derail legitimate debate when ad homs and broad brushes are off the table.

The irony is that I was attracted to this place because I wanted to get away from the echo chamber that was MSM during the Bush years. But we seemed to have created our own echo chamber now.
