all along, that Trump has appealed to the baser population of american citizen for whom racism, ignorance and stupidity are a point of pride. My suspicion always has been that they have been undercover, smiling and agreeing with the progressive desires as exhibited here, but all the while pathologically hating everything and everyone that might threaten their peer group and perceived entitlement as a white person in this country. I know they are here and finally becoming emboldened by their Hitler clone. His minions, the Tea Party racists in all their sects, Tea Party Express, TP Patriots, TP Nation, TP Unity, the many RW religious groups who think they will have their earthly savior to usher in Armageddon, the many white supremacy groups hoping that their savior will usher in the race war they are biting at the bit to see become reality have always been among us quietly waiting for a fascist, racist doppelrganger that we have seen rise among human beings time and again in history.

America has always been the poster child for Dissociative Identity Disorder(multiple personalitiy affliction). Sometimes the sickness can be seen openly, as exhibited by our early history up until 1964-65. Because of those Civil Rights and Voting Acts the culture went into a remission of sorts and a few more crumbs were thrown to those who were in the group(s) that had suffered because of white entitlement sickness. Nixon and Atwaters 'Southen Strategy' was the reaction and pushback to those Acts and started the immediate pushback against equality for all in American society. We had a fairly nebulous 76-80 with a good man trying to right some wrongs in the course of the american ship of state. The RW had already asserted it's power and after marginalizing Carter's presidency for 4 years the ship of state went off course again.

That new course was set by their newest hero of the time who was at the helm of this ship of state 1980-1988. It was Reagans' minions who set up the poisoning of minority communites with the crack epidemic precipitated by the guns for drugs program of Oliver North infamy to allegedly help central american 'freedom fighters' who's RW death squads slaughtered thousands. That was the rightward shift that started and set the course to enable Trump be the new hero of RW american culture in this 21st century. He is the one singular individual who will become a real danger to all minorities if he assumes the helm of this ship of state.

After 12 years of RW assault, starting in 1980 and lasting until 1992 against civil and human rights of americans of all races and persuasions, some knew, others denied this was happening based on their race. In 1992 we got Clinton. A middle of the road Democrat that, I FEEL, did more harm than good with ushering in media ownership by the few(Telecommunications Act of 1996, Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996, which helped usher in prisons for profit, which needed bodies put into them who mainly came from the minority communities, black american communities especially. One joint of marijuana, you were in prison. Tell me it wasn't and is still true.

Then came the political robbery of Rove et al, that brought in the repugnant Bush crowd led by Dick Cheney. WE ALL know how that went for 8 years. A continuing war, trillions of dollars wasted, a country and region in ruin and continuing chaos, a financial collapse that personally affected and ruined millions of americans and by some accounts was worse that the Great Deprssion of the 1930's.

Then came the shining hope. History will have to sort out the overall accomplishments of this current Presidency. A good start though, on a national scale, is represented by a Health Plan for all americans that stands out to me. The rise of the underground racist to the surface of american culture also stands out and is proven by the ascendacy of a racist, fascist like Donald Trump as the presumptive leader of the Republican Party precisely because of the 7+ years of racist blowback in Fox news type media, hate radio and the quiet acquiesence of all MSM to the racism that has been apparent against Barack Obama, This blowback racist reactionary stance against the first African-American POTUS, both congrsssionally and culturally stands out starkly as a testament to the D.I.D. of the american people.

Yes the cowards are emboldend to try to cause fear here at DU and elsewhere, yet they will always be their own worst enemy. If a Trump should become POTUS, it will then be understood by them that this is fact when their hero turns out to have clay feet while devouring their aspirations and creating a a new civil, race and class war in America.

Chin up to the people being threatened, the ones who are trolling and threatening they will be destroyed by their hero. They just don't realize it in their ignorance.

Yes if HRC is our canddidate, I will be voting for her.
