and yours are beautiful. I wouldn't know which I would choose if I wanted to get any---yellow or turquoise. And I have never seen a ringneck parakeet, but that is a lovely bird.

As far as the big birds go, the hand fed babies turn out to be very sweet and docile. My macaw was not hand fed, so it took some time and work to get her tamed down, but she was a darling. I cannot say that I didn't get some nasty bites, but nothing that needed stitches. And I had lovebirds before her, and they could make you cry when they bit as well. I think either the birds learn not to bite, or you learn how to avoid getting bit, because it became a rare event.

I must commend you on the aviary you have. It looks like a wonderful place for the birds.
