4. It didn't amount to much--especially after the courage shown by so many others...

But I did come out as transgendered on Facebook last night. Over a thousand people are listed as my friends there because of a game I play, and I thought I would lose hundreds of them (at least). To my surprise, I only lost one but gained about twenty. There is obviously too much hate and intolerance in the world, but I've been pleasantly surprised to find some love and acceptance, too. I even got to celebrate today by watching an eagle put on the most incredible show I've seen in a while. He didn't just sit in a tree looking beautiful. He owned the sky, which was awesome to behold. The ducks, seagulls, and turtles were fun to watch, too. School must have been out today because kids were fishing in all of my favorite spots, but that was nice to see, too, because fishing has brought a lot of peace into my life as I hope it does theirs. [That's also my excuse for not catching anything but it was nice to make my first casts of the year.] A friend and I walked the bike path a while and threw his nerf football a bit. The weather was gorgeous, and I live for days like this. Love and best wishes to you all.
