3. I wish I could remember just how long ago I first read

about increased CO2 levels being connected to warmer temperatures.

I honestly think it might have been back in the 1960's. Something about being able to record CO2 levels back millions of years. And when I first read about it, the rise in CO2 levels since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution was already noted.

So while the Global Warming and Climate Change worries are relatively recent, the underlying information -- science if you will -- has been around for fifty years or so.
