They're now the second party on the council - still dominated by the Tories.
Conservatives - 36
UKIP - 6
LibDems - 5
Labour - 1
Independent - 1
I would wager a large amount of the money that the UKIP surge is very significantly motivated by local opposition to H.S.2.
