4. We have three rescued critters.

Two cats and a dog. We got one cat and the dog from a shelter. The other cat just wandered in the house one day and has been here since then.

If you are just looking for a pet and don't have a need for a specific breed, I think more people should try to find their pets at the shelter. We love our animals and they are good pets.
