(15,012 posts)Wonderment at a young age, and it never left me. As a photographer said above - noticing the details!
As an Artist if you want to draw realistically you
have learn the subtle details to capture what you see around you, or often in my case make up my own scenes
of nature - whether a park in a city, deep countryside (that I was very lucky and w effort, too, to see on my 2 big across the US vacations in my late 20's ~ glorious), or in my case also sometimes doing science fictiony landscapes.
The more details you understand - the more variety you can draw in your pieces.
I could learn from you to more to appreciate when going out (even) on a cold sunless day. 👍 I have winter S.A.D. so it can get to me after a while like more than 3 in a row.
Hopefully with the luck of longevity on both my sides of family, and good luck in avoiding terrible accidents, and debilitating illnees - I can make it my early 90's+ in mostly good shape, and keep on appreciating Nature, Human Creativity, and (of course) the people I care about.
