mid 1970's I totally overlooked him. When he was killed I thought that is terrible but to me he was one of those Folk-Rock Artists that I had no interest in at all. What a lost talent, but I do remember "Time In a Bottle" being our Prom Theme song in 1974 and admit I did like that song. Unknown to my fellow Hard Rock-Progressive Rock loving friends, I did like Cat Stevens alot. God forbid they ever found that out!! There was a big difference listening to and worshipping Syd Barrett's solo works which are a world apart compared to Jim Croce and Cat Stevens. What category was Syd in would you say?
