I read an actual interview with the head of one of the big media companies (it's been a couple weeks and I forget which) that actually said he knows that giving Trump all the publicity is bad for the country, but it keeps the money rolling in. In other words, good for ratings. No, they want HRC, all right. All the deep pockets seem to work together.
