2. Other than Hamas being obliterated, and land in Gaza

and the West Bank ceded to Israel, what does Bibi want? I know the Israeli people want the hostages, which should be a no brainer. Where does Bibi propose the Palestinian people go? A lot, if most of the land he wants has been Palestinian for generations. I do know Jared and others have decided to strip Palestinians of land due to wanting to build grand resorts. And I also remember something about oil and minerals being found near Gaza. Is there any talk of helping the Palestinians to use this land to their advantage to build up a society that doesn't rely on Hamas?

I've followed the I/P situation since I was a kid (born in 56). Everything has always seemed so unfair to all "sides" and entrenchment seems to have always been the word, rather than building compromise. And yes, with others in the region screaming Israel has no right to exist, there is little there to build on for compromise. But when I was working for the Saudis, back in the 80's, it really seemed like there was progress being made. Especially after the Camp David Peace Accords.

I hate what this has done to everyone... in Israel; in Palestine; in the U.S. Especially with so many of our "kids" here not really understanding the background and just reacting. From my chair (in relative safety at the moment), Putin has done a masterful job at sowing chaos all over the world... with the help of his chaos agents like T, MTG, Gaetz, and Fox News. And lo and behold, here come the religionists, getting their licks in so they can start WWIII and their Apocalypse... which also plays right into the Islamic tradition of the Shia... the last Mahdi(?). I love the ceremony of ritual; I love the comfort that ritual can give the soul. I hate religion for just about every other reason it seems to exist for today. It's meant to judge and drive people apart from each other, rather than draw us in as helpers. ETTD - and he touched religion. Why do common people have to pay the price for their leaders' misfortunes and greed? ALL of us just want to be left alone to raise our families and love. The I/P situation is intolerable, and it seems we're so much farther from any kind of resolution with the power structure we have on both sides... especially when those in power get poked, goaded, and weaponized by outside forces. Is there such a belief in fatalism in the Russian people that they can't see what Putin is doing?

Of course, now you see why "Risk" was a game I never played as a kid...
