What I heard today from the GOP, sickens me. [View all]

Every sound bite from these blood sucking NRA gun loving wimps, just infuriates me. "this not the time to discuss gun laws, we have to worry about the injured and the dead people, we will take up the issue at another time" keeps playing in my mind. Well, here is a question for the GOP. How will you explain this to the families of the victims of the violence due to someone who was able to carry 20+ high powered rifles in to a high rise motel. We know what happened next, but they don't seem to want to acknowledge this happened. Like Jimmie Kimmel said, "there is no better time than now to drafted and pass gun control laws, so these terrible don't have to happen again". I am calling my local/state congressman, my congressman and senator to tell them it is time, now, not when they see fit to talk about. This is our country and we deserve to be protected and not have to worry about walking down the street, driving down the road, watching a movie in a theater, eating dinning at restaurant, or at a night club. This what a government is supposed to do, protect and serve, not at their leisure. I know terrible things happen, but damn it, we need to find away to make people safe and if gun laws are a start I am all for it.

Thank you for reading my post. Godspeed to all and good night.
