But, Comey, is not sure that there isn't something that might come up? He is hesitating to declare the investigation over, maybe. He wants to help Trump and the Republicans, as much as he can, but he doesn't want to react prematurely?

If it looks like it is going to take a turn for the worse, then the Republicans will probably end it. They think it is "fake news" and not a real threat to our country. It would indicate an incompetence beyond the comprehension of anyone in such a position.
