...apologize for the way they presented this upcoming Supremes Decision as a surefire fail for "Obamacare." I wouldn't even turn the news on this morning because I couldn't take watching it go down right in front of my eyes. And then a friend called at about 10:30 and said, "Well?..." Hurray!
It ain't perfect,I'd much rather see Single Payer sooner than later....but it makes some improvements, and I have been pissed off for months at the nonstop negative coverage leading up to the event. Even the term "Obamacare" is a Right Wing construct, dumb-ass simple and real catchy, like all Right Wing constructs...but the newsies went right along. Which means, like always, the Right defines the terms of the argument. Of EVERY argument! When are the Democrats going to learn to talk back effectively...and doggedly...and continually?
Let's hear it for The Affordable Care Act. And now, could we hope for some straight factual coverage of exactly what the bill does?
Nah. Not likely..
