I'm reading this with 2017 as the backdrop, and thinking how bizarre the universe has become. The soon-to-be leader of the free world is sending mini hate messages to other powerful leaders with the flick of a finger. The planet has a fever and the prognosis is poor unless drastic measures are forthcoming. Pink and blue guns are acceptable gifts at baby showers.

I guess I just have a warped sense of irony.
