(20,176 posts)and to be clear, my preference is Warren...is that he in a lot of ways complements where Clinton is weak or where she can make herself appear stronger by not going.
He's energetic, personable and genuine in a way that Clinton never really seems comfortable on the stump. (I'm not saying she's not these things...but they don't come through well; she seems to enjoy campaigning as much as most people enjoy getting stuck with needles.) He's a brutal campaigner, someone that can tear down Trump while allowing Hillary to continue to present herself as above that kind of sparring and focused on the issues. He's a counter-balance to her thinking and the influence of Bill in a lot of the same ways that Biden seemed to make Obama better by goading him to evolve or defend his positions...he can present a forceful devil's advocate that might move her on issues where she's not necessarily in-line with the party or the public or encourage her to take progressive risks to pursue grand initiatives.
