In reply to the discussion: Democrats on Netanyahu’s Speech: Bibi’s Never Seen a War He Doesn’t Want the U.S. to Fight [View all]Fantastic Anarchist
(7,309 posts)25. It is very confusing.
I'm not Israeli, but know just a tiny bit about the process.
Can you expand a bit on this part?
This may explain why some Israeli Arab leaders, who are likely to again be in the Knesset questioned whether supporting the left center was better for them --- suggesting the starker unacceptableness of Netanyahu as better. The more I read on Israel, the less optimistic I become.
As I understand it, The Arab List (I can't recall the actual name) has indicated that they will not form a coalition with Kadima. I think I understand what you're trying to say - which is that they'll let Bibi continue his madness and hope for a backlash? Am I understanding that correctly?
I've also heard that very (as in hardcore) religious Muslims in Israel are likely to vote for Shas, as they share similar cultural values, though I can't vouch for the veracity of this.

OP
Bibi wants the US to bomb Iran for him and pay for it too. Israel has an advanced military, as well

Was Israel an active ally in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? They sent combat troops in?
