If, as is the case here, it is not possible to make an argument on his behalf without getting banned as a bigot, they keep silent.

But they follow Russian state media rules: no criticism of Putin, ever.

They are a mix of Russian ethnonationalists and people who still wear Team Moscow jerseys due to Cold War loyalties.
