Many have gone to great lengths to deny such violence is occurring or argue that the rebels themselves are responsible for it.
Given the death toll in Syria is far, far higher than Palestine (and no, I am not justifying the war on Palestine, just pointing out a contradiction), it becomes difficult to believe that brutal loss of life is the primary concern. Or is it simply that Assad is more clever in keeping journalists and television news in particular out; if it's not on the TeeVee, it just doesn't matter?
