(574 posts)not so great of a possibility. But every action is different, every city and town present their own unique personalities. I remember a story from Dick Gregory's autobiography. [not a quote; what I remember. Mr. Gregory is in jail after being arrested at a protest] '..and there was this kid, and I asked him how old he was. He said "seven". I asked him if he knew why he was in jail> He said "Teedom". Ain't that something. A seven year old kid in jail for a word he doesn't know how to say."
I can easily see, soon, needing a new gas mask. I can't buy replacement filters for my old one. Do gas masks even need filters now? Did something new happen besides pepper spray?
When we're out, we may be out for "teedom", we may not understand the ramifications of confronting your 'trigger happy douchebags', we may not be pledging, "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor", but here's the thing. We're out there.
