15. If I remember right, there was also a home for "wayward girls" near there.

My parents were going to send me there when I was pregnant at 17, they wanted me out of the house as I would embarass them. I ran away instead but lost out on a college scholarship to UF. Of course, I didn't know this was pending when I left, just couldn't see going to one of those "homes" and getting beat all the time for not being a good little Baptist. Even back in the 70's, these places had horrible reputations. Some of the worst of them were church sponsored too.
