dropped out, buying a small dairy farm in SW Missouri.

As part of the 'back to the land' movement, my Dad was interviewed by a couple reporters for the now-defunct alternative publication Harper's Weekly.

"Why did you leave the corporate world for farm life?" the reporters asked.

"I prefer cowshit to bullshit," he replied matter of factly, with a completely straight face.
