To say that everyone agrees is also horseshit!

And BOH people get tipped out by us. They are not being disadvantaged. My tip outs to BOH get that person $2-3 (or more) dollars per hour on top of their wage. Yesterday, I tipped out $61 to BOH. The other server tipped out too. Adds up quickly!

Service industries provide a service and tipping is the THANK YOU! I thank the BOH with my tip out cuz they provide part of the service.

If I do a shitty job my tip reflects that shitty service. If I do a fabulous job, the tip reflects in kind.

Some don’t know how to tip and that is when the calculator comes out.

I can tell ya that some shifts it’s balls to the wall for hours on end! No taking a sip of water, using the restroom etc.

Service industry people work hard and expect the tip to reflect their labor on behalf of service to the patron.

Don’t wanna tip? Don’t go out!
