You are correct, 617Blue, though. The nation's "mainstream news media," the for-profit press, Corporate McPravda, has missed the import of the fascism-comes-to-America-wrapped-in-the-flag-and-carrying-a-Bible story.

For a short while, about 1990-1994, "Lies Of Our Times" tried to correct the record of the paper of record. Can still find a few issues online at the Waybac:

All of the issues once were available. Either we are forgetting or the VRWC's funders are paying handsomely to scrub.
