This right here, people being apathetic and staying home is a real problem. The majority of people cannot seem to grasp the concept of the long game and how long it takes to get anything done. It drives me crazy to hear it from young, and old alike, that they may as well not vote. If you can't be counted on the politician will need to court the votes of those that do, and I guarantee they don't want anything that's going to directly help you.Oh it might help you in passing because its common sense policy but its not going to address any direct grievances. While this isn't a new phenomenon, it is one that's been exacerbated by Tiktock, Instagram and Youtube pseudo intellectuals offering incomplete views gassing folks up about everything from Ukraine to school lunches.
