In reply to the discussion: How We Squeezed Harvard to Push Claudine Gay Out [View all]tornado34jh
(1,029 posts)64. Only if it wasn't for the fact that the board didn't stand up for her
We all know that that they have been trying to do this to public schools for a long time. But what is fishy is why a couple of months ago, the board said they would support Gay and then just now she was forced to resign. Forget the whole plagiarism allegations ,which I will bet you the same people attacking her probably secretly have done so. I'm looking at you bastard Bill Ackman. If the board really supported Gay, why they didn't more forcefully attack the critics? Look, no matter what the case may be, these public schools have got to start fighting harder-against these critics who want to bring them down unless people think that private schools will be any better.

It's not about "attributing source material" -- Rufo spells out very clearly what this is about.

That messaging strategy can't be dishonest just for the sake of producing a sound bite.

All you had to do was turn on AM radio or any right wing tv "news" station.
