naturally occurring and augmented. The lab was apparently combining animal strains, effectively creating superbugs out of naturally occurring viruses. They weren't splicing virus segments using dna methods, from what I've heard.
Some of the animal strain segments, from penguins for example, are hard to explain even in a wet market that doesn't sell penguins

I agree it could have come from a lab. That isn't the main point though. They say it was man made

The people in charge of the labs are supposed to let WHO in to investigate.
