16. Not Enough Options

I passed.
I've got family members I don't care much about. They did things that hurt my parents.
I don't do miracles, so me being there changes nothing.
I didn't care for & about them when healthy. Not sure how sick & dying changes anything.
When my dad was dying, I certainly wouldn't have played golf. My mom went healthy, sick, dead in about 8 hours. Golf was hardly an issue. But, had she lingered, no.
But, immediate family still carries personal relationship dynamics. Hurt my parents, you're out of my circle of concern.
Admittedly, I have a somewhat different "immediate family" situation than most people.
