(84,062 posts)48. FFS, this is the first time MA sent out a mailing to offer mail in ballots.
It is also the first year we are living in a pandemic since 1816 that has killed 153K and is said to be 173K in three weeks.
Strange times. Rules change. I suggest you call your voter commission and see if anything has changed for you. Wishing you the best.

In Oregon postage is not covered so at our community center senior luncheons I would tell everyone

Tennessee does allow mail in voting. It's the "dropping it off" that's not allowed.

I agree, But the issue is also turning in the ballots on time and accurately so they are counted

Another good reason to do it asap is in case something happens later and you're not able to vote.

So send it as early as possible ...do your best. We don't control all the states.

If you have internet, you can probably at least check to make sure your ballot was received

Then please, complete your ballot as soon as it arrives, put 2 stamps on it and mail it right away

My NJ county requires you to attest that you are mailing it yourself. No intermediaries.
