I welcome their dissent, but in this case I recognize it as obvious knee jerk desperation at this far too late hour. Their backbone they've spent all these many years building is crumbling. Because of their own choices to embrace the Tea Baggers and their ilk.

It must suck to be in their shoes. Dogs, fleas and all that.
