14. We're fighting a forest fire with a squirt gun here

This morning, I had to run a few errands (groceries, meds, other necessities). At each and every store, there are signs posted telling customers that they are NOT allowed to enter without a mask due to Mare Lemon Curry's emergency order. I saw only one idiot who was not in strict compliance: he had the mask covering his mouth but not his nose. Otherwise, no complaints, no refusals based on perceived rights, no stomping away in anger, and -- fortunately -- no brandishing of firearms or other weapons.

But, this is too little, too late.
