I Don't Want Trump to Fade Away

After he’s kicked out of office, I want his name to be brought up as often as possible.

I want WH press releases to include his name at every opportunity, e.g. “In stark contrast to Trump’s arrival in (name country) where he was met by thousands of protestors, President Biden was greeted by cheering crowds.” “President Biden has signed into law the environmental protections that Donald Trump had overturned.” “Unlike Donald Trump, President Biden has appointed competent, experienced people to every Cabinet position.”

I want Donald Trump’s face on newspapers across the country every time he makes a court appearance in connection with the charges against him in SDNY, and wherever else he has to defend himself.

I want to see the nightly TV coverage as The Donald’s crimes against the nation are unearthed, one after the other, by the investigations that will likely ensue in the months/years to come. I want to see his humiliation as his personal finances are revealed, and he is exposed as the totally broke “genius businessman” he never was.

I want the Democrats to invoke the name Trump every time they talk about his wrongs having been righted, his insane policies having been overturned.

I want his inane ‘tweets’ reposted frequently; I want his lunacy on display.

I want the aforementioned because I want his Republican enablers to be reminded of who they elected, who they defended, who they covered-up for, who they destroyed their own political careers for.

I want the voters who idolized a lying, treasonous con-man to have their noses rubbed in the bullshit they were stupid enough to swallow.

The GOP’s SOP in these circumstances is to act as though they never even heard of a spectacularly failed president who happens to have an (R) behind his name – as they did with Dubya. Their MO is to preach the for the sake of unity, let’s all just move on sermon – and I don’t want that to happen. And I don’t want those who have been sowing disunity for four years to be seen as anything other than the spineless traitors they have shown themselves to be to get away with their treachery.

I want Donald Trump to be remembered on a daily basis – because what he’s done to the country should never be forgotten.
