I especially noticed him glaring at Fauci numerous times who looked very uncomfortable and trying to avoid eye contact. Most of the people up there looked like hostages who had been told what to say and how to act. The whole thing looked like something very unpleasant had happened before they entered the press room. Perhaps they had been subjected to one of Trump's infamous explosive temper tantrums.
Some day we will find out what happened behind the scenes in the White House, but it isn't hard to imagine what is going on.
