The problem is the people who wont let it go after the primary has a winner. Some of these people pledged to vote third party or not vote at all, which is tantamount to a toddler stamping its feet yelling, NO!
Sometimes, you cant get what you want. In 2016, compared to Trump, both Hillary and Bernie were excellent candidates that should have been a no-brainer to vote for.
I didnt / dont exactly like Hillary, but I would never vote for someone else vs. a Republican. Thats completely insane and short-sighted.
So, in 2020, please go wild during the primaries, but stop trying to sabotage your own damn party over stuff like identity politics and economic policies. Yes, we all want those things badly, but, if you lose, and you would rather vote for a Republican or Third Party to prove a point than support the winner, then frankly, youre being an idiot.
