We appear to be in similar age cohorts. I too saw all those presidents speak, I didn't like all of them (reviled some), but they spoke with respect to the office, and to the country. Now I see a buffoon whose vocabulary seems to be little more than Basic English when he adlibs from a podium. You can tell he's doing a prepared speech, he loses his bluster. He has no grace, no compassion, no coherence. I hope America survives him.
